Establishing electron-photon wavelength relation (equation)

Mechanism-Revealed Physics (7/40) ------ by Bingcheng Zhao

Electron-photon wavelength relation (equation): based on the impulse frequency of an electron is equal to the frequency of its emitting photon as revealed in electron-photon work-energy equation (P. 255 ~ 256, 3.4.2 c), reference #1), electron-photon wavelength equation is established for the first time in the history of quantum physics. Electron-photon wavelength equation expresses the relation between electron and its emitting photon in wavelength as that: the ratio of the wavelength of an electron to the wavelength of its emitting photon is equal to the ratio of the orbiting velocity v of the electron to the speed of light c in vacuum (P. 271 ~ 273, 3.6, Ch.3A, reference #1). The core equation of newly established electron-photon wavelength relation is on P. 271 as Eq (3-15) (Ch.3A, reference #1).

Electron-photon wavelength relation (equation) is verified by citing the result of the famous Davisson-Germer experiment: the value calculated with electron-photon wavelength equation is 0.167 nm vs. the measured value was 0.165 nm (P. 272 ~ 273, 3.6.2, Ch.3A, reference #1).

The fundamental significance of electron-photon wavelength relation (equation): electron-photon wavelength relation reveals and quantifies the essential relation in wave nature between electron and its emitting photon.

The key to understanding of electron-photon wavelength relation (equation): (i) from fundamentally important question: since photons are emitted from electron, then is there and what is the relation between electron and its emitting photon in wavelength? (ii) What is the essential relation in wave nature between electron and its emitting photon? (iii) The newly discovered OEPIEP law (= the law of orbiting electron periodic impulse emitting photons, P. 193 ~ 214, Ch.2A, reference #1), and the newly established electron-photon work-energy relation (equation) (P. 252 ~ 258, 3.4, Ch.3A, reference #1).

The highly attractive application of electron-photon wavelength relation (equation): at present, ordinary light bulb only converts about 5% of the input electrical energy into useful visible lights, whereas 95% is wasted as heat. The newly established electron-photon wavelength relation has the potential of guiding insightful scientists and/or entrepreneurs to develop lighting apparatuses that can convert 80% of the input electrical energy into useful visible lights. The market value of this sort of lighting apparatuses can be as high as billion and billion dollars.
